Ilid Roberts

Ilid is an outstanding year 7 pupil, she is by far our star in this very talented year group. Her enthusiasm is infectious to both pupils and staff, and she compliments this excellent attitude with her natural sporting talent. Ilid consistently performs to a high standard in all curricular activities displaying a wide range of skils and is a vital contributor to our extra curricular provision having represented the school at netball, cross country and athletics. Her dedication to improving personal performance manifests itself in her committed attitude to training and skills development. This highlights itself in her main activity swimming, where her hard work at local club level has resulted in her selection for the regional development squad. Sports has a great influence on her life. It has taught her communication skills, the benefits of team work and the importance of fairness. Thanks to sport she has plenty of self confidence and is popular amongst her peers. If she was chosen, she would proudly represent Ysgol y Creuddyn and could share the amazing experience with others through the medium of both Welsh and English.
