Ieva Liepina

Ieva is women from Latvia whose passion for sports have always set an example for everyone who knows her. She has participated in adventure races and cycling marathons in which even the toughest of men sometimes break down. Five years ago, however, Ieva was hit by a lorry while out bicycling. She lost her boyfriend and spent 5 months in surgery and rehabilitation aimed at allowing her to learn how to walk again. When she got out of hospital, still on crutches, she headed straight for a shop to buy a new bike. She was soon back on track, participating in various sports activities and continuing to involve her colleagues and friends in races and marathons. It is impossible to resist the positive attitude and inexhaustible energy which she uses to inspire her peers to join together in these sports activities and to forge exciting and memorable moments. You can do more than you imagine, she says, but only if you believe in yourself.
