Ian is a shining example of a campassionate, caring & inspirational employee. Along with his colleague, the late Peter Higginns, Ian has been integral to the success of Next's Home Warehouse. Together they built a superb maintennace team & became the embodiment of enthusiasm, pride, passion & determination. Ian's commitment was forced to stretch above & beyond the realms of a normal working relationship when Peter, sadly became ill in October 2009. Ian displayed tremendous compassion, empathy and support to Peter & his family. This was an unselfish act at a time when Ian's own workload was increasing substantially. Ian's commitment to Peter & his work never wavered. Peter's sad passing has inspired Ian to create a legacy which represents everything positive they did in work & play. Ian has taken in Peter's passion for running, taking part in several events which have raised money for MacMillan Nurses. Ian's story exemplifies a model employee with his commitment, drive & energy being an example to us all
