Holly Lam-Moores

Holly has been a model professional for one so young, since she joined the squad aged just 16.Her work ethic and commitment are the yardstick for others to follow and she is an athlete that has an instant rapport with the crowd, wherever she plays. This rapport has made her an instant hit with the local school children from her hometown where she has inspired a huge interest in the sport of handball and is a fantastic role model. There are now several schools playing handball in that area and she is a mentor and coach whenever she can get home. Her enthusiasm and sheer delight at playing handball is infectious and she is always a popular athlete with the media because of this. She is one of only two home grown players to be given a professional contract with a top club in the elite league in Denmark, showing what can be achieved with hard work as well as talent. She probably thought that was never a possibility...so she is testament to what can be achieved!
