Holly's nomination story

Regardless of the fact that Holly suffers from CysticFibrosis (CF) she is a great role model for young people, not only with disabilities, but in also trying to Get young girls interested in sport. In 2009 I was selected to be part of the GMPD British National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team (GMPD Gymnastics and Movement for People with a Disability). Since then I have been determined to succeed in a sport that I love. I have won six gold medals and two Silver medals at the Rhythmic British Championships and claimed the junior title two years in a row. This year I won all four gold apparatus Medals - taking my first senior title. I want to share my passion and commitment for Rhythmic gymnastics and I hope my achievements will help give this sport the recognition it deserves, and encourage more young girls to join a club. I want to set an example that anyone can achieve anything if they want it enough and try hard enough. One of my greatest ambitions is to be a part of Cirque du Soleil
