I hope to foster the community spirit in our town by further developing the arts festival that takes place over the summer months - encouraging local people to nurture their talent by providing a show-case through which artists of various kinds can show others their talents, eg musicians, poets, public speakers, artists, etc. I am especially interested in the gifts and abilities of young people.
