Harry Wells

Henry has been involved with football swimming and member of the sports council for over 50 years. Henry played football for Quorn for 24 years before managing the team before moving to Loughborough dynamo where he took them from the district league to the senior league.He spent seven years in the mid 80s as manager of Quorn juniors football club. In the late 90s and early 2000s he was coach at a local sunday league team. over the past 4 years he has managed Loughborough dynamo juniors, with myself. he has been an inperation to the lads helping to improve performances and focus the minds of unruly lads, and last year underwent major open heart surgery. he is well known in our town as a great sportsman, and great allround man he has coached/supported hundreds of local footballers having a positive impact on their lives. i can think no worthier nominee to carry the torch
