Helen Rothnie

Helen is an amazing woman who devotes a huge amount of her time to the Orkney Amateur Swimming Club. She is currently our chair person and in this role she endeavours to fulfil our club's every need, from fundraising, to publicity. She spend hours filling in forms and attending interviews to try and secure us sponsorships and is always thinking of new and innovative ways to raise the profile of Orkney Swimming. Helen also officiates at our local competitions, and travels south with swimmers acting in a team manager role where necessary. Through Helen's hard work, dedication and support over the past few years she has helped 100s of swimmers to reach their goals, achieve personal bests, records and medals at local, national, and international levels.
