Helen Goodall

Helen is an inspiration to others..She is always raising money for charities and is very selfless and generous with her time these.I'm an ordinary middle aged woman with a 'have-a-go' attitude to life. I've always looked for adventure and love both running and cycling though I didn't run my first marathon which was in the Namibian desert until the age of 52. For some my adventures may seem tame but running long distance footpaths or cycling across the country is accessible to most people. Earlier this year I had a bi-lateral mastectomy which only served to strengthen my belief that we all need to make the most of life and the opportunities that we have. In the future I hope that others will look at me and think if she can do it (whatever 'it' might be) then so can I and take heart to have a go themselves finding their own adventures whatever they might be.
