Helen Docherty

Whilst bringing up my 2 daughters I taught myself computer skills & changed my career path into office work. Once my children went to school I volunteered for a Healthy living Project in my area which gave me the great experience. I have worked for my organisation now for the past 5 years which I truly enjoy & I am proud to work for, this has led me to be nominated for carrying the torch by my fellow colleagues. The thought of carrying the torch makes me feel honoured, privileged & hopefully it will make my family proud of me for this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
