Heather Anderson

Heather is currently the depute head of a local school and has been involved in promoting activity amongst children and school sports for over a decade now and at whatever school she's been at she has been instrumental in initialising, organising and leading after-school sports activities. Heather also mobilises and motivates a number of parents to get involved and has even organised professional coaching for them to boost their confidence. Her school is now the region's best in a number of disciplines but the impact on the local community is much deepeer than that. Heather has initiated inter-school sports galas between all the local primary schools and has involved a local military school who's children had little or no interaction with children from the town. Heather carrying the torch would be an inspiration to the children showing what passion, motivation and hard work can achieve.
