I have completed 14 London marathons, the New York marathon,many half marathons, 10k etc: And also taken part in five worldwide major trek challenges, which culminated in climbing to the summit of Mount Fuji in Japan. I was the first woman and the oldest in a mixed group of only twenty to reach the Summit. My fund raising activities have not relied on large donations and I have never received any major corporate sponsorship. I have been a voluntary charity fundraiser for many years, and have managed to raise in excess of £120,000.00. In spite of only having one kidney and arthritis in my hands and feet, I still always try and give 100% commitment to my training and to charity fundraising. I would love to be a Torchbearer for the 2012 Olympics, it would be an honour and privilege to be chosen to take part in the relay.
