Ash Singh ,Assistant Food and Beverage Manager came in to work on his day off,12th June 2011, when he heard that the hotel had taken a delayed flight of 150 passengers.Ash then organised additional team members in order that we could serve the guests dinner that evening .After dinner one of the guests went out for a walk and unfortunately looked the wrong way when crossing the main road and was hit by a car.Ash saw the accident occur from the hotel restaurant window.A trained First Aider he immediately went out onto the busy main road ,he called the emergency services ,stopped the traffic and gave first aid to our injured guest.The guest suffered broken bones but thankfully with the assistance of the airline was able to fly home later that week. Ash is not only passionate about the business but his quick selfless reactions helped make a traumatic event for a guest in a foreign country alittle less so.
