Harry's nomination story

Harry Judd is the drummer in pop supergroup McFly. They released their debut album in 2004 and since then have had 7 UK Number One singles, 5 Top Ten albums and numerous sell-out tours which include their most recent 30 date UK tour. All of this and more has helped secure McFly's place as one of the UK's most successful bands.

Harry is a dedicated supporter of charities, with two in particular that are very close to his heart, Eyes A Light and Teenage Cancer Trust.  He is very involved in helping raise awareness and funds, and regularly visits the hospitals and homes. He also climbed Ben Nevis with fellow band mate Tom Fletcher to raise funds for underprivileged children.

Harry recently took part in the BBC Television show Strictly Come Dancing where he wowed the judges and the public with his amazing routines week after week.  After 12 weeks of performances Harry was eventually crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champion of 2011 in the final at The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

McFly are currently recording their new album and writing their autobiography, due for release later this year.
