Hannah's nomination story

Hannah is an inspiring individual, since the age of 12 she has helped weekly at our village Rainbow unit, helped at our annual village playscheme. When I say she helps, she plans prepares and organises activities for the children to do. From shopping to get items needed to make or play games to the clearing away at the end. Hannah last year took part in the Staff team for the Centenuary for Girlguiding. She has represented her school as a member of the School council, and continues to volunteer to mentor others at school. (South Wolds Community School). She has helped at her local dance school initially for part of her Sports Leaders qualification at school but has continued to do so after she has finished the number of hours needed. To help others on her course she has written the invites to feeder schools for an after school netball sessions and is going along as an extra to helper. Hannah is my insiration as I would not be training as District Commissioner for Girlguiding if she had not said why don't you have a go - you can do it. I would not have volunteered to help as a staff member for the centenary if she hadn't have suggested it first. Currently taking her Adult leadership qualification for Girlguiding. Hannah is dyslexic, has external clicky hips and generally has loose joints which means she is sometimes in pain. But she has achieved grade 5 in ballet, does pointe, Riverdances, Rookie lifesaver etc. Just keeps going. To help others on her course she has written the invites to feeder schools for an after school football sessions, (not netball)
