Guerchet Gaelle

In 2004, Gaelle became a member of the Gomboro Burkina association and since 2005 she has been the president. The headquarters of the association are located at Cordemais (France) The association has established several projects to improve the living conditions in a village located deep in the Burkina Faso Savannah. The projects supported by the association include: a maternity centre, a health centre, a solar well, solar panels and eucalyptus plantations developed with the young villagers. Gaelle puts a lot of energy in running this association, as she believes that helping others and getting involved is a way to learn about other ways of life, discover other traditions and languages and ultimately become enriched with knowledge and experience. Gaelle believes in the need for unity and in the idea that by working together that we can achieve great things.
