Graham Hutchison

I am passionate about helping others but am largely unsung! I volunteer for many projects and am Chair of Governors at a local school, at another school I ran an after school footbal club on an inclusive basis giving access to sport to children who would therwise have missed out, I am supporting a project in Dumfries to create Scotland's first Children's literature centre and also actively support a wildlife conservation park. At my own expense I drive to Greenwich University to mentor ethnic undergraduate students (round trip of 150 miles each time) and recently won the NMC Mentor of The Year Award . I also am secertary of the Dover and East Kent Scottish Society and have put in loads of effort making sure it survives, organisning events editing and publishing newsletters and maintaining the website. I have also volunteered for Samaritans. I care passionately about everything I do.
