Grace Henney

As an 19 year old Grace has always supported the underdog and has not just talked the talk but has walked the walk. She has worked on a play scheme in Poland, She has visited Bulgaria twice to work with orphans and Roma street children and as a 15 year old she organised and fundraised to travel to Ghana to teach the 3 R's - Rights, Respect and Responsibility. This ended up with a presentation to Ed Balls then a goverment minister. During her 6th form college she worked at a local hospital and responded to a request to visit the local spinal unit This resulted in Grace making lasting friendships with paraplegics, who found themselves a long way from home. Now whilst studying for a theology degree she is also working with MIND. Grace would go (and has been) to the ends of the earth to touch peoples hearts and befriend them to enable them to live out the Olympic creed and help them no matter what their particular struggles if not to conquer but to fight well.
