Ann Burrows

ANN served in the WRAC in Bosnia,and after leaving the army she joined the Post office as a postlady.she still found time to run in Marathons for various Charities and she is currently running the Support Our Troops team in Stockton they collect pack and send shoe box's full of goodies to the troops out in Afghanistan She recently completed the Redcar Half Marathon in which she raised £300 for support our troops. On Army day in stockton she along with support our troops team members filled and posted 100 shoe box's for 1 rifles in Afghanistan.she is devoted to the cause of supporting the troops and the torch run would really make her year, after she has worked so hard.Ann is commited to sending box's to the troops until they withdraw from Afghanistan.She does this willingly for no reward day after day.If only there were more like her.. I think she really derseves this chance as she is a most wonderful and cheerful person who does her very best.
