Gillian James

Gillian is the "good soul" of the BP North Sea leadership team. At work, she very clearly demonstrates core Olympic values of excellence, respect and friendship. On a daily basis Gillian is always friendly and helpful. No matter how tight the deadlines, Gillian is pleasant towards her colleagues as well as towards the people putting the tight deadlines on her. She selflessly assists with tasks and provides direction where needed. Being an excellent coach in all aspects of the financial and planning side of BP's business she also demonstrates the core values of "trust" and "motivating others" to develop the youngsters in her team. Her whole personality also reflects in the team around her. She has generated a "go-to" team with a great mix of highly skilled experts and some bright young talent.
