Gerlinde Didea

I would like to recommend Gerlinde because of her outstanding efforts to help people who have recently made Mainz their home to have a successful future. Alongside her regular job, she volunteers to help people learn German, complete the necessary forms for various authorities and helps them to establish a social circle by organising various events with other people in a similar situation. This takes up a lot of her time: she regularly gives up her weekends to work at the organisation to help give people the step up they need to a better life. She pays particularly close attention to the integration of people with physical and mental disabilities. This degree of voluntary dedication to the welfare of society deserves to be rewarded.
