George's nomination story

I am nominating George as I think he is a true caring person. He gives a lot of his time up to help care for his 4 autistic brothers. Often missing out on seeing his friends. He does this without any complaint. He also does charity work. Last year he walked 30 miles to raise money for Brighton young Carers. He helps them as well. He helped in a Brighton autism charity raising money. And he does a lot in the way of help around the home and garden. He helps his granparents with work as his nan is disabled. He has been down in the last few months and has self harmed and felt worthless yet he still carried on helping out as always. I can't praise him enough as a boy of 15 currently doing exams he gives so much to help others despite the difficulties he may find and the hard work living in a house with 4 disabled boys. He is a one off in my eyes Last year he was recognised in the local paper , he was nominated for and won carer of the year 2010 in Sussex. He did not sit back and switch off after that he carried on with his caring as usual. He helps me with many jobs around the home as I have got back problems which I have had for many years. He has also gone through the upset of losing a baby brother during a pregnancy and having to go to see him buried. I feel he has been through so much yet still gives so much. He has already planned to walk from London to Brighton next year to raise money for Brighton young Carers. So it would be great for George to have this great chance .
