Gaynor's nomination story

Gaynor has contributed a lot of time and effort to raise money for charity, she has run 5 London Marathons to raise money for Cardio Myopathy, she has also raised money for Air ambulance wales and Ty Olwyn hospice. The last marathon she ran at the age of 51 and completed it in 3 hours and 39 minutes. she has run with the BT team twice, She has also trained as a fitness instructor over the past couple of years and has set up fitness classes in BT Tower Swansea in conjunction with Workfit. Gaynor teaches at several Leisure Centres and Swansea university teaching Body Combat , Body Attack and Tabata - all this alongside her normal day to day job at BT. She is a massive inspiration and a great motivator, she has inspired me personally to lose so far a total of 7 stones in weight, I could never thank her enough for her continued support and advice. Gaynor would be a great representative of BT as a torch bearer, I also think it would be a great reward for Gaynor to get something back for all of her efforts and hard work, being a torch bearer would be like a dream come true for Gaynor and I for one feel she is more than deserving of this privilege.
