Gayle Knight

Gayle is actively involved with the local community and has organised book clubs, musical talent evenings, drama schools for over 50's and for children of all ages. She also works with the local junior school producing the School play every year. She works tirelessly to bring arts and culture to the area and is project co-ordinator for the local BLAZE project working with young people from Oswaldtwistle and Accrington.Also works Hyndburn Women's Forum, Friends of Rhyddings Park, St Mary's Church and runs Sparks for young people. Has brought over £200,000 funding into Oswaldtwistle over the last 5 years from various sources i.e. lottery and grants for the Arts.
