Freddy's nomination story

Freddy demonstrates respect in his everyday life at PCS. His respect towards peers, staff and his learning environment itself is admirable for someone of only 12 years old. Freddy is fair, honest and a very strong role model to his peers around him. Freddy has achieved outstanding progress in five or more subjects across the whole curriculum since he began his learning journey in September. His passion to strive for excellence is fantastic and he will always overcome the challenges he is faced with. Freddy has strong rapports with both peers and staff due to his positive, friendly and approachable manner. Freddy has embarked on a PCS sporting career in which he represents the school at both year 7 and 8 level in rugby and football and has built strong bonds with both groups of teammates. Freddy has had to overcome tough personal challenges within his family recently but has demonstrated true strength for a young boy of only 12 in his ability to support those around him who have been affected and support himself through his daily life. Freddy demonstrates determination in all aspects of life and strives for success at all times. Freddy is a true inspiration to all of his peers and those in the years above him. He is a very strong role model whom other students look to for support and friendship. Freddy embraces people of all differences, which is evident in his extensive friendship groups. Freddy believes strongly in fairness and has demonstrated a belief in equality
