Frank Biederman

Frank set-up the Fremington & District Community Development Group initially to raise money for a new children's play park in the village. Four years later and well over £150,000 has been raised to support local community projects, groups and charities. The park was completed 2 years ago and recently outdoor fitness equipment has been installed in the local playing field. Not only does the group raise much needed funds for such projects but also runs successful and very popular events bringing the local community both young and old together several times a year. Some of the local groups and charities to benefit have been the junior football team, scouts and guides, school PTFA, 'in bloom' group, nearby children's hospice and a local branch of the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline charity. Frank has an unwiliting passion and drive to help his local community and should be recognised for it.
