Frank's devotion to the Haringey Athletics Club has been phenomenal. Since the late 1970s Frank has been involved as an Athlete himself, competing in Road Races, Cross Country and Track, and has filled every committee position from Chair downwards. Frank supported the club as it grew from strength to strength to become the largest in the country in the 1980s and to host the European Club Championship. Over the last few years Frank has focused on coaching, while continuing to hold a committee post in the club (now the amalgamated Enfield and Haringey AC). Frank coaches at the centre twice a week, and is heavily involved in Cross Country Teams and Junior Track and Field, in which the club recently became national champions. Over the years his involvement has been purely voluntary, and Frank has been a credit to the club, with a dedication and reputation in the sport of the highest order.
