Filipa Ferreira

Filipa Ferreirinha, is a merit High School student with huge passion for sports activity and even more on helping and supporting people. Her love for Atlhetics is defined on the eachday partice of Race Walk. Never give up on her objectives is her main goal and filosofy of live. At School, running or supporting people seh never gives up. Since a kid she also is a Scout: Leave the world as a better place that the one you find it . Seh is excited with the London 2012 Olympic Games and aims to compete in the 2016 Olympics. Filipa is an inspiration to her friends, family and to the local community. With both parents without the hearing capability, Filipa quickly learned communication by gestures to communcate with her parents and help her parents communicate. Result of this learning and constant practice, Filipa also helps local schools, teaching sign language and talking about her personal experience to deaf children. In sport, Race Walk as a very technical sport, she is also responsible for teaching the technique to younger practitioners of the sport.
