Faye's nomination story

Faye is the strongest, most amazing, and inspiring person I have ever known. Over the last 2 years she has faced the biggest challeneges that anyone could ever face. About 18 months ago, Faye was overjoyed to be expecting her 2nd child, but only weeks into the pregnancy she was diagnosed with Cancer. Faye had to find amazing strength to get through the next few months, not knowing how the cancer would effect her baby or what would happen to her as she delayed treatment in order to continue the pregnancy. Faye gave birth to baby Eva in March 2010 and Faye began her cancer treatment. Although the treatment progressed well, Faye was faced with another crisis as Eva became very unwell - and was later diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Now in 2011 - Faye's cancer is in remission, and she has returned to work. Faye and her husband are actively involved in raising money for the cystic fibrosis charity and remain hugely positive despite their challenges.
