Ewan Mcateer

Ewan has impressed everyone at the college with his attitude behaviour manners and sporting ability. An exceptional gymnast he has competed in the British Champs (10th parallel bars) the UK Games (5th pommel) and is in the team that is the current Ulster and Irish Champs. Not content with this sportingCV he has also made it on to our 1st form A rugby team. He realises that dreams dont come true by just dreaming and he trains 4 hours a day, 6 days a week to achieve his dream of being the first male gymnast from Northern Ireland to represent his country at the Olympics in 2020. He is a very pleasant unassuming young man always mannerly and aware of others. I wholeheartedly endorse his nomination to carry the Olympic Flame. I can think of no-one better who embodies the OLympic and Paralympic Values
