Evie Dornan

For me it is not about deserving to carry the Olympic torch but recognizing the responsibility to promote the Olympic ethos if selected.I enjoy all sport and want to lead by example and encourage others to take part. By captaining some of my school teams I have been able to encourage my friends to join me and live a healthy life. I want to be a doctor, to represent my country at international level and the Olympics. I want to help promote my country as a beautiful place to visit. When I am older I want to get involved in coaching the sports I have taken part in to encourage others to have the fun I am having. I have seen people on TV who carried the torch in 1948. I want my children to see me doing this.
