I have always loved all sportsand have volunteerd for the 2012 Olympics. I am a race organiser and fund raiser.I have organised the popular Hastings Half Marathon for 27 years as Race Director and raised over three million pounds for needy causes. As a member of the Hastings Lions Club I receive no re-imbursement for this job. I also organised the 100th Hastings Anniversary Marathon in 2008 which celebrated the anniversary of the 1908 Hastings Marathon(Olympics also in Loondon in 1908). I have been involved in helping many other Events for example:- London Marathon Brighton Marathon Eastbourne Half Marathon Battle 10 k Hastings Five Mile and Hastings Step RaceBexhill Triathlonand 1066 Relay. I have been honoured to receive the Highest Award in Hastings of the '1066 Award' and in 2007 was honoured by Her Majesty The Queen with The M.B.E.
