Emma deserves to be carry the Olympic torch as she is an inspiration to all our young swimmers at Bridge of Don ASC. Emma has chromosome 7 Disorder, leading to her having severe deformities of her hands and feet. Emma can't wear nice party shoes, open bottles and all things that we take for granted. Emma has been selected to represent and train with the Scottish disability squad and also recently represented our area (Scotland NW) in the UK school games in Sheffield. She is a happy, determined young lady and we are all so proud of her at the club. We believe she deserves to be an Olympic torchbearer as she inspires so many children to learn to swim despite their difficulties.
