Emma Mcloughlin

Although only twenty nine years old, Emma a young teacher living in Edinburgh has been volunteering on a regular basis for over eleven years. Her passion is to use her artistic talent to enhance the lives of others, particularly school children with special needs and in programmes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Emma has also given her time and talent on a regular basis to the residents of a children's hospice and an aged care home. Emma loves to run and swim. She has raised money for Marie Curie Cancer care on eight separate occasions over 5k and 10k distances in both disciplines. I would like to nominate Emma as a torch bearer for the London 2012 Olympic games. Please give this young mother from Scotland the chance to touch the magic of the Olympic games in the community where she grew up and is a now a brownie guider.
