Emma Mclean

I`d like to nominate Emma for her voluntary contribution to the local community. Although she is just 17 she has already been helping at the local rainbow group regularly for 2 years. She dog walks for the Cinnamon Trust (helping a lady of 95) and volunteers for the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust giving donkey riding therapy to children with special needs and disabilities. At school she has assisted with open days and eleven plus examinations. She is a year 6/7 form prefect and has been helping at school fund-raising events for many years. She is tutoring a friend in AS maths and is currently on an unpaid internship at Exeter University helping with a clinical trial. She is a quiet child who makes her contribution reliably and without seeking any recognition.
