Emily Rogers

Emily is a promising young athlete, a committed member of the West Suffolk Athletics Club . She is No. 1 in Suffolk in her age group at 100 metres,200 metres and long jump and competed in the English Schools Competition for the last three years . She also helps in the Junior Athletics Sessions as a level 1 coach and a level 2 official . It doesn't stop there . She is an enthusiastic Sports Leader at the Local Community College and last year ran the 'Whole Hog ' run for Charity raising money for sufferers with Parkinsons . Whilst doing all this she is studying for 'A' Levels as she hopes to go to University to become a P.E. Teacher . Having watched Emily from a young age blossoming as she is and with still more years to show us what she can do, to be given the privilege of Torchbearer would be an honour and one she would do with such pride for the country .
