Emily Alexander

Since starting at Ballymena Academy, Emily has shown that in every way she is an outstanding pupil. She has attained at the highest level in both sport and academics, having shown an unswerving commitment to hockey, netball, junior wind band and subject studies. Emily is a joy to work with, and is liked by both staff and pupils. To her credit she has represented the school on two previous occasions. Emily has a wide circle of friends with whom she enjoys many varied activities, and displays a strong sense of community spirit through involvement in local Girls' Brigade, hockey, dance and swimming classes. Emily is courteous at all times and pays careful attention to advice given, displaying a positive attitude and exemplary behaviour. I have no hesitation in recommending Emily, and consider her to be a role model and worthy ambassador of the values for which the Olympic movement stands.
