Ellie Dunning

Despite having life threatening allergies from birth Ellen Dunning has run 10k to raise funds for cancer charities and M.S. At the age of 12 she went to Parliament to get better protection for children with allergies in schools as she knew what it was like to be bullied about them. She supports children in her position as she understands and doesn't want them to feel isolated. Ellie can take nothing for granted as she has stopped breathing as a result of her allergies. Her life is complicated even more as her mother was diagnosed with cancer when she was 3 and had to grow up quite quickly. Though her life has been complicated she is always ready to help anyone and would be a positive role model for other teenagers and an excellent torch bearer. She is 14.
