Ella Thomas

Ella quite simply embodies the word inspirational, she is a breath of fresh air. Working tirelessly to raise money for charitable causes, Ella demonstrates deep respect to all people always putting others before herself. Aged 12, Ella does her very best in life having achieved more than many people twice her age. In recognition of the fund raising she has done this past 5 years for Barnfield Riding for the Disabled (Charity No. 1073731), Ella was made an honorary member. Her work at the stables has inspired disabled children to do something they would never have thought possible, to ride on a horse. A stalwart member of the community Ella runs each year in the Race for Life and at Christmas time hand makes hundreds of gift tags to sell at New Malden's Methodist Church to help finance community outreach projects. In recognition of her contribution to school life and her sense of fair play, Ella was unanimously awarded the Holy Cross School Shield. Hugely popular at school, Ella works hard at her academic studies and is a true athlete having won many sports prizes. Ella also won the Eco Prize for designing a poster encouraging people to be more environmentally aware. Cheery, willing and enthusiastic Ella offers daily assistance to her grandmother who has suffered a stroke. A dear and loving family member, Ella is also a real and devoted friend to many people old and young in the local community. Quite simple Ella is ace and we do not know what we would do without her.
