Ella Statham

I have known Ella for the past couple years, through the Leadership and Volunteering programme that she is very much part of. For someone so young, she has always put herself forward for everything, with the attitude of giving it a try and her best. Ella has been instrumental in creating a leadership programme, helping us to design a struture that will benefit young people as well as the clubs and organisations they will volunteer in. One thing Ella has done is set up a blog, writting about some of her volunteering opportunities, with the hope to promote the programme to fellow peers. http://lfayoungleader.blogspot.com/ Ella has now become the LFA Ambassador because of the work she has done and currently sits on the Equality Advisory Group for the London FA, giving a young person view to how football should work within London. I think Ella should be given this opportunity to be a touch bearer as she is a inspiration to others in her age range and is a perfect example of if you get out in your community you can make a positive change.
