Ellie Smallwood

Eleanor is an Adi-Star and a Young Ambassador, she has always had a passion for sport and represents her school in a wide variety of sporting teams. From an early age she has participated in many sports and became a sport leader whilst at her middle school. Eleanor continues to work as an Adi-Star and Young Ambassador at high school. She has worked tirelessly to encourage children of all ages to participate in sporting activities, through her voluntary work at local schools and by assisting in the running of after school sporting clubs. Eleanor has overcome great shyness and has gained in confidence by taking on a variety of new challenges through her volunteering and mentoring work. Eleanor enjoys helping children of all ages to experience new activities and to develop existing skills. She has inspired children of all ages to adopt a healthier lifestyle and to achieve a higher level of physical fitness and therefore, I believe that she deserves the great honour of carrying the Olympic Flame.
