Elaine took up the challenge to inspire NHS Staff to get fit . Her passion and commitment to using the inspirational power of London 2012 to motivate and engage staff in their own health and wellbeing is phenomenal. She has negotiated innovative ways to get staff more active at little or no cost to themselves. This has enabled everyone to get involved. More than 1000 staff are active and numbers are growing daily. She works tirelessly to ensure the inspiration of 2012 is at the heart of what shes doing. Feedback from staff is fantastic, they're more motivated at work, morale has improved and they feel more healthy, a clear demonstration that Elaines enthusiasm is having a positive impact. Somerset NHS Go for it challenge will be a true legacy from London 2012 and will have inspired many nhs staff and their families to improve their own health and wellbeing.
