Eily Buffone

Battling with a long-standing illness, my daughter-in-law Eily has not only been a good wife and mother but has set herself goals which she has achieved. That is, she has cycled over a thousand miles and plays tennis and badminton to keep herself at her optimum fitness. In September she will be cycling from London to Brighton for her charity The Eve Appeal. She is a keen gardener and takes great pride in cultivating and seeing her garden produce come to fruition. Her widespread activities include giving support to local village communities and schools by way of providing her delicious home baked cakes and confectionery and donating her home crafted goods. Overall she sets a wonderful example of someone who is worthy of carrying the Olympic Torch which she will do with her customary gentle nature and smiling face. I thoroughly recommend her.To date I have cycled 8500 miles, but I expect to reach 10,000 miles by the time of the London 2012 Olympics.
