Ed Roberts

While serving as a volunteer listener for Linkline since 2005, Ed has formalised the organisation's operations, policies and constitution, as well as developing publicity and funding campaigns and training and recruitment processes. Since 2008 Ed has volunteered with SexYOUality, playing a vital role in policy development, fundraising and strategic planning as well as running the weekly youth group. At Cambridge and District Community Mediation Service (CDCMS), Ed has served as a volunteer mediator since 2009, as well as doing research for and leading a new pilot project expanding CDCMS's services to new areas of Cambridgeshire. Ed has also volunteered since 2010 for 'The Message' project at Centre 33, supporting young carers' outreach initiatives, and has both organised and supported a number of scientific outreach projects over the last few years (both within and apart from Science Week).
