Not many people would push their best friend up the highest mountain in Wales, or create a charity in his name, but Ed is quite exceptional. He set up the charity Tudeski when he and a team set out to raise money by pushing lifelong friend Tudur, a T4 paraplegic, in his chair up Mt Snowdon. The funds raised allowed them to purchase a Sitski for Tudur to use in local snow domes and the Alps to raise awareness for disabled skiing. In the past year, Ed has become actively involved with promoting disabled skiing through the Ski2freedom foundation, encouraging more disabled people to try - and enjoy - skiing. Ed has not only given Tudur the ability to keep active but also the confidence to try exciting things he might not otherwise have imagined It is for these reasons I nominate Ed as an Olympic torch bearer.I haven`t setup a charity, I am involved with 2 organisations - Ski 2 Freedom and the Rough Riderz. I have recently volunteered to be the Development co-ordinator for the Rough Riderz, to be involved with mountain biking as well as skiing.
