Edmond was the first to set up a Chinese youth football team in Liverpool which finished runners up in Knowsley Against Racism tournament and attracted support from Everton Football Club. In his spare time he has been involved in raising money for various charities since the sudden death of his brother Stephen in 2005. He has completed abseiling from the top of John Moores university building for RNIB, Great Manchester 10k, Great Northern Run, London Marathon, Dublin Marathon and Paris Marathon raising sponsorship for British Liver Trust, Macmillan and Cancer Research. As a teacher and volunteer counsellor with Childline his next challenge is to raise money for NSPCC (£2,265 raised so far) by cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats (874 miles) in 12 days on a fixed pedal bike!! It would be an honour for Edmond to carry the torch to represent Britain and in memory of his brother.
