Duncan Carey

Duncan has devoted his life to sport, as a participant, coach, Alleyne's Sports Centre manager and voluntary administrator (Regional Chair of IMSPA). Highlights include: School captain for athletics, basketball and cross-country teams (still holds 1500m record!). Gained many individual and team athletics honours at local, regional and national levels. Developed Alleyne's Squash Club to achieve numerous county and national titles culminating in being the first winners of the Governing Bodies Gold Accreditation. Oversaw the £2M development of the astro-turf facility. Duncan is a popular and well-respected figure who has always strived to provide the best sporting facilities for the Stone area. He enjoys positive relations with many local sporting clubs and inspires others to lead a healthier lifestyle by promoting many initiatives for targeted groups.
