Following the death of his much loved mother-in-law to cancer Duncan resolved to try to make a difference by raising money to aid cancer research. With encouragement from friends Duncan decided to raise at least £10,000 by accepting a formidable challenge. This challenge is detailed on the website www.geneva10000.org.uk/ and involves cycling from Exmouth to Lake Annecy (Days 1-4, 800miles), swimming the length of Lake Annecy (Day 5, approx. 14.5 km) and finally running around the entire lake (Day 6, marathon distance). Supported by close friends Duncan has received sponsorships and practical assistance in terms of his training and equipment. Duncan has been training hard for the past 12 months despite the demands of a young family and full time job. To date donations and pledges exceed his £10,000 target. We are all very proud his efforts are for the benefit of others.
