Dominic Macgowan

Dominic has participated in sports from a very young age and although he is competitive he appreciates that respect dedication and team ethos are essential to secure fun and sporting achievement. His determination was first identified at primary school where he was awarded an Outstanding Pupil Award. He soon transferred and developed these skills within a sporting context and represents his school in football, swimming and badminton. he excelled whilst training at the City Gym Squad where he gained some of the highest acolades. It was at this time that he faced his biggest challenge after becoming injured. This tested his character as he was forced to retire from Gymnastics. Since then he has worked hard to achieve in other areas of his life. He was nominated as school football captain and is an inspiration to all those around him.
