Denise Gray

I have worked and known Denise for over 20 years. She has always been a special person doing good things for others. In recent years she has become involved with helping children in Thailand and India. Every year she raises funds for a trip for HIV/AIDS kids to have a once chance holiday on the beach in Bangkok. She is the driving force for this, organising prize draws and parties. She always does this with her special smile and enthusiasm very evident. When a friend died of a brain tumour she held special meetings for everyone again to unite and celebrate this

lost friends life.

Within her community she has strong links through her church and community groups. This caring approach has rubbed off on her family and her daughter in turn has also become involved by helping a disabled community neighbour.I believe it is Denise's good example that made this happen.

Next week Denise flies to Mumbai to again help at an orphanage. She does this in her own time and bears the costs herself. Denise has always been a special person someone who rises above situations and does really good things, she brings a smile and positivity to everyone who meets her. I can think of no one who deserves this more oh and by the way she loves to run.One thing though, should you decide Denise deserves this wonderful accolade then make sure someone else knows as she is not the most organised person and could easily arrive at the wrong time/day.
